The only equivalent way of measuring the past; future.
In this moment they are parallel lines but will eventually intersect one day.
I let myself go, unchecked.
Drowning in the swirl of time. Relishing as time passes me by.
I did not exist in the past and the future cannot prove my existence.
As my past cannot be proved nor my future ignored.
I long to be a withering leaf, drifting along the waves.
Maybe then, I can find my own peace someday.
